I wrote the music for many years for the CBC National News In Canada
and my good friend, Fred Parker, was the director of the CBC National
News for over 30 years. Freddy and I covered a lot of territory with
news and music. One fine day, he mentioned that his boys had a band
called “The Crawling Kingsnakes”. I immediately was taken back to the
1960’s to the “music of my people” when he played the music for me. So
Freddy and I decided to record the songs and make some videos of this
quite good band who seemed to be able to channel CCR into the next
century. So here’s to Jesse Parker, Christian Bonner, Michael Bonner.
