“It's not often, even in Canada, that you get to work on a comedy about curling. Many people take this sport very seriously and that’s not funny. It was a lot of fun and in particular, I enjoyed re-creating the “Land of the Silver Birch” song for this film.
As my 5 year-old at the time, Harrison asked, “Why are those men throwing those teapots down the ice and then chasing them with brooms?” Thus, “Men With Brooms”.
