This remarkable recording took place on May 22nd, 2001 on the First Terraceof the 18 Terraces below and above the Shrine of the Bab in Haifa Israel. Thousands of Baha’is came from all over the world came to celebrate the
Official Opening of the Mount Carmel Terraces. This evening of music
featured two compositions, the first symphonic composition called “Queen
of Carmel”, composed by Tolibkhon Shakhidi from Tajikistan and the second
piece, a symphonic oratorio, called “Terraces of Light” was composed by
Lasse Thoresen from Norway. The Haifa Symphony Orchestra and the
Transylvania State Philharmonic Choir performed these two compositions
